NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Offer (RFO) for accomplishing various administrative, engineering, systems engineering, and integration functions. The contractor will accomplish major technical tasks related to hardware integration control process, software development and integration laboratory, and integrated test and verification. Configuration management expertise shall be required, as appropriate, in the engineering, software development and documentation functions. Management of major project/program reviews and panels include all required planning, scheduling, statusing, and reporting for administrative and tecnical functions. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. This procurement is a total 8(a) small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC Code and Size Standard are 8731 and 1,000 employees, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurement is DO-09. The provisions and clauses in the RFO FAC 97-07.
