The United State Air Force intends to issue a full and open competitive request for quotations to upgrade 4 bathrooms in Building 1302FA at Hanscom AFB MA. This project consists of the total upgrade of 2 ea. bathrooms located on Hanscom AFB in Lexington MA. The principal items of work include but are not limited to removing all floor tile, fixtures and accessories in all 4 bathrooms. Also, the erection of new walls, suspended ceilings, furring of walls, ceramic tile floors and walls, new fixtures, accessories, exhaust system and lights. This project will be a firm fixed price contract. The period of performance will be 45 calendar days, with the exception of long lead items, which shall be verified in writing from the supplier to the Contracting Officer. The magnitude of construction is $25,000 and $100,000. All interested parties shall respond in writing only within 15 calendar days of this notice. The Statement of Work will be made available on 1 September 1998.
