SP -- SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT This announcement hereby notifies you that the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is now a registered agency on GSA's Electronic posting System (EPS). It is the Bureau's intent to post all procurement opportunities with an estimated value over $10,000 on this system. The GSA EPS is found on the Internet at http://eps.arnet.gov. You are hereby encouraged to register for the electronic notification of business opportunities from selected product service classification or from a selected agency. Registration is quick and east and may be completed on-line. The following other federal agencies are participating in EPS: the Department of the Interior, the Department of Transportation, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, the Department of the Air Force, and the Department of the Treasury. This list is growing. In time, it is the Bureau's intent to eliminate paper to the maximum extent possible. The electronic posting of procurement opportunities is just the beginning. The next step of EPS is the electronic secure submission of offers and proposals.
