from regular CBD announcement to a combined synposis/solicitiation.
Therefore this is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items
prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition
Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the
only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and
incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal
Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-5. This acquisition is SIC code 3599 and
has a small business size standard of 500. FOB Destination pricing
only; the requirement is as follows: Naval Air Warfare Center-Weapons
Division, China Lake, CA, has a requirement for 1 EA. 5500 Series
Update Retrofit package for Instron Model TT Test Instrument includes:
UPDATE moderizes the TT series electronics console with the newest
digital technology. All old controls, recorders, and modules are
replaced with new digital control and signal conditioners, a computer
running Instron Windows-based Merlin operating software. Manual gear
changes are completely eliminated. Basic test methods and calculations
can be customized, stored, and recalled by user. Once test is run,
Merlin calculates test results and generates a report and graph. The
retrofit package also includes: S1-13585-1 5500 Series UPDATE Retrofit
Package, 1430-050 Certified UPDATE ON-site installation, 2490-638
Complete premium computer system intergrated with UPDATE hardware
