Note: 1 Contractor shall furnish and deliver fully factory assemble wall plate type heat exchanger ITT Bell and Gossett Model GPX151DW or equal to the Pentagon Building under the following specification: Heat echanger shall cool potable water 30 GPM from 80 F to 50F at maximum pressure drop of 2psi with 50 GPM of plant chilled water supply from 45 F to 59 F at maxium pressur drop of 5 psi minimum sqare feet of heating surface shall be 96 sq ft. 2.. Corrugated channel plates shall be 316 stainless steel. 3. Gaskets: Channel plate ports shall be double gasketed to prevent mixing of potable water and plant water. Gaskets shall be Nitrile type. 4. Carry Bars: Channel plate carring bar shall be stainless stell, aluminum, or carbon stell with Zinc yellow chromate finish. 5. Frame pleates and pressure plates: Fixed frame and movable pressure plate shall be carbon steel pained with gray enamel . 6. Connection: Piping connecations shall be 2 inch stainless NPT nozzeles. Connection ports shall be integral to the frame or pressure plates. 7. Splash Guards: Unit shall be furnished with OSHA required. formed aluminium guards to enclose exterior channel plate and gaset surface. 8. Double-Wall heat exchanger shall have air space to enable to leak to atmosphere should a failure develop in the metal channel plate. 9. Design Pressure/Temperature: Unit shall be designed for minium 150 psig working pressure at 80 F design temperature. Assembled unit shall be hydrostatically tested as 1.5 times full differential pressure. 10. Unit Size: Dimensions shall not exceed 3 feet, 1.5 feet width and 5.5 feet length. 11. Construction: A manufacurers's data report for unfired pressure vessels as required by the provision of the ASME codel Rules shall be furnished to the Government. Report shall be signed by a qualified inspector. The ASME "U" symbol shall be stamped on the heat exchanger. The manufacturer shall be registered with the National Board. (vii) Date of delivery: ___________ Delivery F.O.B. point destination within fourweeks after receipt of order. Deliveries made to the Pentagon South Loading dock must be coordinated through the Dockmaster 24 hours prior to delivery. Vendors shall notify the dockmaster by telephone and furnish the following information: Drivers Name; Vehicle, Tag Number, purchase order (if applicable) and company POC.
