66 -- UPGRADE EXISTING BICRON/HARSHAW 6600 TLD READER SOL F41622-98-T1190 POC Bill Lucas, (210) 536-6222 Brooks AFB, Operational Contracting intends to award a sole source contract to BICRON*NE, 6801 Cochran Road, Solon Ohio 44139. The requirement is for an upgrade to the existing Bicron/Harshaw 6600 TLD Reader to accommadate newly available technology. This consists of a factory conversion of M6600E TLD Reader to a M6600 CCD with DXT-RAD Ringlet Reader Kit; labor; manual ring loader/unloaded station; vacuum tweezers; DXT-RAD Carrier Cards; XD-100 (TLD-100) dosimeter ringlets; DXT-RAD rings and caps; parts and labor are under warranty for one year. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this award is solely within the discretion of the Government. No award will be made on the basis of quotes received in response to this synopsis. If quotes are solicited no additional synopsis will be published.
