Purchasing Agent THERESA WOODARD (256) 235-4118 (Site Code DAAC01) Two
(2) each thermal desorption units with fast flow type interface.
Thermal desorption units shall be capable of thermally desorbing
sorbent tubes with a max OD of 10MM through a fused silica transfer
line into a gas chromatograph for analysis. Desorption unit shall use
6MM swagelock type fittings to connect to sorbent tube. Unit shall have
a sample saver option to transfer a portion of the sample into another
sorbent tube for later analysis. Must interface and be compatible with
the Hewlett-Packard 5890 model gas chromatograph. Must be capable of
desorption temperatures up to 30 degrees celsius. Flow controller shall
have a range of 5 to 35 Ml/minute for 0.32 MM ID capillary columns.
Unit shall have mounting brackets to fix the system to the gas
chromatograph. Dynatherm Analytical Instruments Model Number
900FF/225FF, or equal. Two (2) each Multi-tube desoprtion units.
Multi-tube desorption unit shall be capable of thermally desorbing up
to 16 sorbent tubes with a max OD of 10MM through a fused silica
transfer line into a primary thermal desorption unit with subsequent
analysis by gas chromatography. Multi-tube desorption unit shall
consist of a minimum of 16 heater chambers that use 6 MM swageloc type
fittings to connect to sorbent tubes. Unit shall be compatible with
ACEM 900 type primary desorption units. Must be capable of desorption
temperatures of up to 300 degrees Celsius. Flow controller shall have
a range of 5 to 35 ML/minute for 0.32 MM ID capillary columns. Unit
shall have mobile mounting brackets to secure the system to the gas
chromatograph. Dynatherm Analytical Instruments Model 916FF, or equal.
