Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio 1998-1999 Youth Sports programs. These
programs encompass the following organized sports: soccer, basketball,
and baseball. The soccer program will be conducted in the fall of 1998
(September-November); basketball will be conducted in the winter of
1998 (December-March); and baseball will be conducted in the
spring/summer of 1999 (April-July). League composition generally
consists of 112 participants on 7 teams for soccer; 350 participants on
26 teams for basketball; and 400 participants on 25 teams for baseball.
Games are held in and around Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The
soccer and basketball programs are held in the vicinity of the United
States Air Force Museum. The baseball program is conducted on fields
located in the largest concentration of military family housing units
on base. Sponsors have potential exposure to a target market of
Wright-Patterson employees, family members and retirees exceeding
60,000 people, through advanced promotionalactivities. Sponsorship
opportunities exist in the form of in-kind products and services,
financial support for the sponsored program and/or donations.
Sponsorship benefits include company logo placement on promotional
materials and uniforms, product sampling/promotional opportunities with
the possibility of collecting mailing list data, signage at the events
including placement of banners on fields and courts, product displays
and other recognition opportunities. Specific needs are for uniforms
and equipment. All offers will be considered. More than one sponsor may
be accepted and additives will be considered. Offers should be received
by this office as follows: soccer program now being accepted,
basketball program offers by 30 September 1998, and baseball offers by
1 March 1999. This is a solicitation for commercial sponsorship by a
nonappropriated fund instrumentality of the United States government.
It does not obligate appropriated funds of the government. Posted
