B -- TERRORISM ANALYSIS SUPPORT SERVICES The 11th Contracting Squadron, 110 Luke Avenue, Rm 200, Bolling AFB DC 20332-0305, intends to procure, on a sole source basis, from Pinkerton Risk Assessment Services of Arlington, VA under Contract No. F49642-97-C-0021 the services of two terrorism analysts. This additional effort will augment the existing terrorism analysis support services currently being received under the contract. This sole source action is supported under statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented under FAR 6.302-1(a)(1) and (2). The 11th Contracting Squadron has determined that this service is deemed to be available from only the original source due to the requirement for specialized analysts to work in an integrated and synergistic manner. The period of performance will be from date of award through 31 Oct 98 (remainder of base period) and four, one-year options (49 possible months). The proposed contract action is for one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This synopsis is a notice of intent to place modify the existing contract to provide additional terrorism analyst support services and shall not be considered a request for offers.
