The Operational Contracting Division, Services Branch, Hanscom AFB, MA intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for carpet replacement at the Child Care Center. The project consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, tools, equipment and transportation necessary to perform all operations in connection with the replacement of carpets in all of the classrooms and hallways of Building 1994, Child Care Center. Carpeting in hallways and designated offices shall be Shaw's Stratton Momentum II Unitary Backed, type 68730 Ancient Vessel. Coverbase shall be Johnsonite 4" rubber 1/8, color-charcoal. Classroom's carpet shall be Shaw's Stratton Momentum II Enhancer III+, type 68440 Miami Teal with padding. Coverbase shall be Johnsonite 4" rubber 1/8, color-Anitqua Aqua. Transition strip/adapter shall match the Antiqua Aqua color. The work will be done in five phases. A site visit for this project will be held on Thursday, 03SEP98 at 10:00. All interested parties shall meet at Hanscom AFB, Building 1520, second floor conference room. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1752, and the size standard is $7.0M. The project will be solicited using commercial practices in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12.
