Now it is being extended to COB September 4, 1998. NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Quote for the furnishing and installation of porcelain tile exterior paving system at the main entrance of Bldg. 32. The removal of existing pavers will be accomplished by another contractor and both contrators are required to coordinate their work with each other as well as with a government representative. A site visit is planned for Tuesday, August 18, 1998 at 9:00 A.M. @ project site, Bldg. 32. Carl Lazerow is POC at 301-286-6910 and will make arrangements for admittance to the site. Detailed drawings will be a part of the RFQ. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See note 26. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC Code and Size Standard are 1611 and 500, respectively, The anticipated release date of RFQ5-79685-946 is on or about 08/12/98 with an anticipated quote due date of on or about 08/28/98. All qualified responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See Internet Note "B".
