FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION, SOUTHWEST REGION'S QVL/PVL FOR WEATHER OBSERVATION Federal Aviation Administration Southwest Region QVL/PVL Vendor Listings There have been a lot of inquiries as to how to get on the Southwest's Region's Qualified/Prequalified Vendor Listings. The following information will explain what this office has done or is in the process of doing. Current information can always be obtained from the FAA Southwest Region's website at "faa-southwest.net. A qualified vendor list is in place for weather ops vendors. Currently no new applications are being accepted, when that changes this office will announce it both on the Internet and in the CBD. A construction vendor listing is being setup, please see separate announcement. No other QVL or vendor list will be setup by this office at this time. This includes requirements for supplies/equipment, security, janitorial, and all others not listed above. You always have the right to submit to this office any product catalogs and your business card that will be placed a general vendor file. This in no way commits the FAA, to purchase any supplies or services from your company.
