E-MAIL: Glynda H. Meeks, glynda.meeks@msfc.nasa.gov. NASA/MSFC plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a study entitled "Spacelab Science Results." This study is being procured under the University Research Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) Program with the university community within the United States. The purpose of this study is to document the scientific achievements of Spacelab. Research shall be conducted at the contractor's facility with a period of performance of effective date of award of the contract through March 31, 1999. Quotations will be evaluated using best value criteria stipulated in the BOA. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. The SIC Code and Size Standard are 8733 and 500, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurment is DO-C9. The anticipated release date of RFQ 8-1-8-ES-C0654 is on or about August 30, 1998 with an anticipated quote due date of on or about September 7, 1998. All qualified responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See Internet Note "B".
