Public Debt intends to award a commercial item contract for medical services with competition restricted to eligible 8(a) companies. To be eligible potential 8 (a) firms must be qualified under the standard industrial classification code 7363. The majority of these services will be required in the San Antonio, Texas area, but the Contractor will be required to be able to provide the above listed labor categories on a nationwide basis. This contract is subject to the Service Contract Act and the place of performance is not entirely known. Wage Determinations have been requested for the San Antonio area. The Contracting Officer will request additional localities if asked to do so in writing by September 8, 1998.
