SOL N00167-98-R-0068 DUE 111798 POC Barbara Rothenberg 301/227-5755, Contract Specialist, Lynn Rowe 301/227-1100, Contracting Officer The Large Cavitation Channel (LCC) and the Carderock Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center has a competitive requirement for engineering, technical, and support services to design, install, implement, operate, calibrate, and maintain current and/or future equipment, systems, and facilities which are located at the Memphis Detachment, Large Cavitation Channel, 2700 Channel Avenue, Memphis, TN. The contractor will be required to support the development and refinement of operating procedures and practices, test plans and agendas, system development proposals, configuration management plans, technical report preparation, calibration of equipment, inventory control of materials and equipment, stock control of parts and consumable items, machining and fabrication, technical library organization and maintenance, and computers and networks. The contractor shall provide services for operation, maintenance, and repair of test facility electrical and mechanical support equipment such as large motor drive, generators, power distribution systems, hydraulic systems, rigging, overhead cranes, air compressors, chiller, motors, and pumps. The period of performance shall be five (5) years from the effective date of the contract. It is estimated to 213,311 person hours of effort over a total performance period of five years.
