The Army Research Laboratory is currently working on mission related projects in the area of clients/server based entity target tracking and predictions applications for processing moving target sensor data and applications for processing Standard Transmit Receive Equipment (TRE) data. ARL is tasked with providing algorithms for tracking and predicting ground vehicles and providing a Graphical User Interface to the TRE processor that allows multiple users on a LAN environment access to TRE data for a geo-referenced display of contacts. These algorithms will be implemented as software modules when integrated, as a unified software component, will be delivered as a DII compatible software segment. The geo-referenced display for displaying the TRE data is the DII COE display manager. This is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis to Advanced Visual Systems, Waltham, MA. Based on a market survey of those familiar withthe above referenced topics, Advanced Visual Systems was the only contractor possessing the knowledge required to successfully complete this project in three months.
