SOL RFQ 673-34-99 DUE 092898 POC Mick Dubuis 813-972-7593 This is a pre-solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the subparts in Federal Acquisition Regulation 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number Request For Quotation (RFQ) 673-34-99 is assigned and shall be referenced on any requests for solicitations. Issue date for solicitations is September 28, 1998. All Quotations shall be due by 1:30 P.M. Eastern Standard Time on October 26, 1998. The James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL 33612 has a requirement for Testing Laboratory Services for the Florida National Cemetery located in Bushnell, Florida. These services are for phase III: Burial Areas & Cemetery Development, Project No. 911-005. The contractor shall be responsible for inspection and testing of materials and workmanship and the performance of all tests listed in the solicitation. Tests shall include but not be limited to: Earthwork, Landscaping, Asphalt Concrete, Concrete, Reinforcing Steel, etc. All potential offerors shall be available to perform work immediately. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-06. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 8734 and the business size standard is 3.5 million. Proposals shall be submitted on an "all or none basis." Partial proposals shall be rejected. Proposals shall be submitted to the address listed herein and directed to the attention of Mick Dubuis (90C). If hand carried, proposals shall be delivered to Room 217a on the second floor of Building 42 at the above mentioned address by the specified time. No faxed quotations will be accepted.
