The Defense Information Systems Agency intends to issue a request for quotation for the purchase or telephonic/on-site maintenance, labor, and parts for G3 telephone switches in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). This acquisition for maintenance of a commercial item is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) under solicitation DCA100-98-Q-0305 and is an unrestricted procurement under SIC code 3661 with a size standard of 1,000. THE RFQ WILL BE RELEASED ON OR ABOUT 16 SEPTEMBER 1998. COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION AND STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) MUST BE REQUESTED NO LATER THAN 21 SEPTEMBER 1998. PROPOSALS WILL BE DUE ON 25 SEPTEMBER 1998. Places of performance will be at locations in the Washington Metropolitan Area, which will be provided with the contract award. The RFQ will contain a detailed listing of equipment and quantities to be maintained. Offerors shall propose firm-fixed price labor rates. Offerors shall provide convincing information regarding their access to repair parts.
