92 Mod 1 Fire Control System including but not limited to the following
base items: (1) Test and Adjust the Magnatron Filament Voltage for the
MK-92 Mod 1 Fire Control System, (2) Align CAS Track Receiver for the
MK-92 Mod 1 Fire Control System, (3) Align Surface Tracker in Earing
with Air Tracking for MK-92 Mod 1 Fire Control System, (4) Perform CAS
Range and Angle Gradient Check for the MK-92 Mod 1 Fire Control
System, (5) Adjust DSOT Stalo Servo Drive for the MK-92 Mod 1 Fire
Control System, and (6) Adjust DSOT COHO Frequency and DSOT COHO Lock
Control System, etc. Option items include but are not limited to the
following: (1) Lodging and Meals not associated with annual grooms, and
(2) Air Fare not associated with annual grooms, etc. It is anticipated
that the contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price Contract consisting of
base items and option items, with a minimum of 10 grooms per year. The
Contract will include potential corrective maintenance during thegroom
period. Inconus and outconus responses to fifteen (15) vessel Class
WMEC in the MLCLANT area of operations may be required with response
times of not longer than 24 hours and 48 hours respectively. Minimum
requirements: (1) Bidders, meaning the company and the individuals
expressly performing work under this contract, must possess a secret
clearance prior to the award of this contract. The names of the
individuals must be provided for verification. Clearance will be
verified by the Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO).
Bidders not currently cleared, and desiring to pursue a facilities
clearance can contact DISCO at telephone number (614) 692-5255, 5256 or
5257. Request may be forwarded to : DISCO, P.O. Box 2499, Columbus,
Ohio 48216-5006. There may be associated cost to acquire a clearance.
These cost will be explained in detail by DISCO. (2) Source must
possess as a minimum: (a) Mark 92 Class "C" military school; or (b) in
house Unisy Defense System Mark 92 Training; or (c) In house MK-92
Training at NWSC Port Hueneme and (3) 3 years minimum experience in
Mark 92 Systems. Sources must demonstrate their ability to meet the
above requirements to potentially be considered issuance of a
solicitation. This procurement is open to both Large and Small
Businesses. All responsible sources will be considered by the U.S.
Coast Guard. Funds for this procurement presently are not available.
