Reference Sources Sought Synopsis announcements, Subject same as above, dated May 6, 1998, June 11, 1998, and July 14, 1998: Cost compare under OMB Circular A-76 for government-owned operations to run military facilities: Military Family Housing Management, Military Family Housing Maintenance, Dormitory Management, and Furnishings Management. This is a REVISED announcement. The government has REFINED its requirements. The data is collected to determine the extent of commercial activity interest for competing with the government for performing the following services and the potential for small business set-aside. MFH Management: (Approx. 1500 units) Includes but is not limited to assignment/termination and off-base community housing program. MFH Maintenance: Includes but is not limited to minor construction, repair and regular maintenance. Dormitory Management: (Approx. 975 units)Includes but is not limited to minor construction, repair, minor custodial and scheduled maintenance. Furnishings Management: Includes but is not limited to minor repair, distribution, and recordkeeping of furnishings. The solicitation will include the Right of First Refusal Clause. Evaluation of the award will be Best Value and thus compared to the government's Most Efficient Organization (MEO).
