A/E will provide complete design and construction period services for two separate designs. The first is to renovate a room for a new medical library area, and the second is to renovate the current library area for a new pharmacy area. The project will include new and existing furniture, carpet, automatic doors, new ceilings, paint and wallpaper, demolition, structural check of floor loading, lights, security alarms, drug vault, drug dispensing windows, new structural wall system, signage, HVAC modifications, new data lines and new phone lines. The work is located at the VA Maryland Health Care System, Fort Howard Division, 9600 North Point Road, Fort Howard, Maryland 21052. The construction cost is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. The standard industrial classification (SIC) code for this acquisition is 8712. This is an emerging small business set-aside, with an emerging small business size standard of $1.25 million, as an average annual revenue during the last three complete years.
