Specialist (202) 874-5442 The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency
(OCC) is currently seeking Credit Bureau Data in support of an upcoming
research project sponsored by the agency's Economics department. The
OCC is interested in a company that can provide data drawn from a
national longitudinal (panel) database. The OCC will need data from
1989 to present, reported on either a monthly or quarterly basis that
is drawn from a large representative sample of the population. The OCC
is also interested in the type and breadth of demographic information
available from such a database. Special requirements to the OCC's
project include: (1) Ability to track individual borrowers over time
though the identity of the borrower must be suppressed; (2) Ability to
track individual trade lines (i.e., lender) over time though the name
of the lender can be suppressed; (3) ability to provide a full list of
bureau variables including age of account (open/close dates), payment
history for each trade line (current days past due, chargeoff), amount
paid each period, amount past due, outstanding balances, credit limit
(revolving credits), and initial loan amount (installment creditors);
and (4) ability to pool data by household (i.e., aggregate credit
reports of joint accounts by household) while retaining the ability to
disaggregate back to individuals. Respondents to this synopsis will be
included on mailing list for any future correspondence on this
requirement. The OCC does not intend to award a contract on the basis
of this notice and will not pay for any information received a result

Credit Bureau Data that meet all or most of OCC's requirements are
requested to submit their information replies to reach OCC by October
