This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation, F11623-98-T2426, is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 90-46. (iv) This is a total small business set-aside. The associated standard industrial classification code is 4953 and small business size standard $6.0 million. (v) There is one line item number and for the items to be acquired. Services, Non-Personal: Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials and transportation required for a contractor to land apply 400,000 gallons of liquid slude from the Scott AFB Waste Treatment plant. Contractor will furnish all sludge application documentation to waste plant foreman by 20 days after application. Contractor must be fully accredited to apply waste slude and comply with al US and II EPA rules and regulations including CFR 40-503. (vii) Period of performance is 01 Oct 98 through 30 Sep 99. (viii) The provision at Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) The FAR provision 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, applies, and quotes shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable price, technical acceptability, adherence to applicable clauses and provisions, and satisfactory performance record. (x) A completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, must be submitted with quote (copies will be provided upon request). (xi) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
