NASA GSFC/WFF plans to issue a Request for Offers for Modifications to HVAC Systems at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, Virginia 23337. The scope of work for this project shall include, but is not limited to: Modification to HVAC Systems at Buildings F-6, X-55, V-55, B-129, N-159, A-1 and D-1. The project includes the replacement of air handlers, condensers, chillers, roof top units, boilers, and revision of fire alarm system. The work shall be complete. It includes furnishing, as applicable, or may be required, all contractor's plant, equipment, safety devices, labor, tools, materials, supplies, and services, and performing all operations necessary for or incidental to a complete project in conformity with the drawings and as set forth in the various sections of specifications. This procurement is being conducted under NASA MidRange Procurement Procedures. The order of magnitude for the procurement is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 and the effort shall be completed within 180 calendar days after notice to proceed. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for the procurement is 1711. The corresponding size standard is $7,000,000.00. The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about 10/15/98 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about 11/16/98. The firm date for receipt of offers will be stated in the RFO. Bid packages containing specifications and drawings will be available at a nonrefundable cost of $75.00. Requests are to be forwarded to: NASA/GSFC, Sandra S.
