The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to increase the level of effort required and extend performance for continuing maintenance of software for the Advanced Tomahawk Weapon Control System (ATWCS). This software was developed and is currently being maintained by Raytheon TI Systems, San Jose, CA, under Contract N00019-97-C-0117. NAVAIR intends to issue a sole source modification to this contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source), as Raytheon TI Systems is the only known source with the requisite technical knowledge, data, and experience needed to meet this requirement within the required time constraints.
