Fish & Wildlife Service, Region 2, is seeking Request for Quotes for a comprehensive historic study of the Murchison/Wynne Ranch Complex at Matagorda Island. The documentation shall be sufficient to support a nomination to the National Register of Historic Places. The report shall define the historic context of the ranch complex, the regional context of similar period occupations in the area, outline significant historical periods and events for the complex, and establish the level of significance of the property with respect to local, regional, or national history. The preliminary draft report shall be due six months from the date of award; the final report shall be due 10 months from date of award.
