Jalowiec SEA02213, 703-602-7600 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA)
has a requirement for submarine trainer,technical data and training
system program support services for operational submarine shore based
trainers .This support will provide engineering and technical support
services for the conduct of life cycle, acquisition and configuration
of all submarine training systems including submarine trainers
configuration management and change assessments as a result of
submarine program change. It will also provide support associated with
the development and maintenance of submarine training and training
materials in the areas of
electronics,mechnical,electrical,communications,navigational,sonar,and
fire control programs for operational submarine shore based trainers.
Support for trainer modernization programs and SEA 92L1 cognizant
systems and components located at the submarine training facilities is
included.The total requirement is for approximately 466,665 manhours
of effort consisting of approximately 50,980 for the base year,98,039
manhours for option year I, 101,961 manhours for option year II,
105,882 for option year III and 109,803 for option year IV.Primary
effort will be performed at the Contractor's facilities located within
a ten mile radius of the Naval Sea Systems Command Headquarters
currently located in Arlington,VA and have a facility clearance up to
and including SECRET material. There is also a limited requirement for
on site support at each of the submarine training facilities. This is
a 100% set-aside competitive procurement for small business; the
applicable Standard Induatrial Classification (SIC) code is 8711 with
a size standard of $20 million annual sales.Specifications will be
contained in RFP N00024-99-R-2902. A limited number of hard copies will
