Scheck, 440-838-6088 The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 10000 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, Ohio intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Bio-Rad Laboratories, Diagnostic Div, Hercules, CA to procure the following supplies needed to operate the Bio-Rad Variant instrument: (1) Variant ALC Reorder Pack, 18 EA; (2) Diabetes Control, 16 BX; (3) Thermal Paper, 16 BX. These quantities are estimated for one year and delivery will be made on an as needed basis for the period of October 1, 1998 through September 30, 1999. These supplies are manufactured by Bio-Rad Laboratories. No substitutions will be accepted. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
