A -- MODIFY THREE GOVERNMENT FURNISHED SH-60B AIRCRAFT SOL n/a POC Terri Tornell, Air02.3.2.4.3, (301) 757-5258 E-MAIL: tornellta@navair.navy.mil, tornellta@navair.navy.mil. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a cost plus fixed fee contract to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC), 6900 North Main Street, Stratford, CT 06497-9129 to perform non-recurring design, planning and production functions for the production of the SH-60R air vehicle from a SH-60B aircraft provided as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE). This will include production design, tooling, special test equipment, logistic analysis (including class three (3) Integrated Electronic Training Manuals (IETMS)) and remanufacturing 3 GFE SH-60B aircraft to the SH-60R configuration. The contractor will also support Navy test and evaluation and provide aircraft maintenance support. SAC is the sole developer and integrator of the H-60 platform and therefore, is the only known source with the expertise, technical data, equipment, and experienced personnel necessary to perform the required effort.
