There are currently numerous Cisco routers comprising the WSMRNET backbone. The only maintenance service that provides CISCO hardware and software upgrades is provided by A&T Marketing Inc. The equipment must be compatible with the backbone and associated communications links manufactured by CISCO. The requirement is for maintenance/hotline support for CISCO networking hardware, for FY99, for the following equipment. AGS +/3 Smartnet 68020 4 MB Router -- 2 ea; AGS +/3 Smartnet Nine Slot Gateway Server -- 2 ea; AGS +/4 Smartnet 68040 16 MB Router -- 4 ea; IGS/R Smartnet 1-Slot Remote Gateway Server -- 3 ea; CISCO 7010 Smartnet Base Unit RP, PS, 5 SL -- 1 ea; CISCO 7000 Smartnet System P/S & RP -- 1 ea; CISCO 2500 Smartnet -- 2 ea.
