The US Army CECOM is soliciting for a Ground Based Common Sensor (GBCS)-Light Antenna Redesign Study, contractor format report, due thirty days after award. The contractor shall perform the following tasks on the antenna of a Ground Based Common Sensor-Light(GBCS-L) signals intelligence platform: characterize its performance; study and recommend design improvements for follow on prototype work; build dielectric to electrically isolate it from mast; build cables for interface with GBCS-Light platform; and deliver characteristics data to government. There is an option for the fabrication of a prototype from study results. This is a sole source acquisition proposed with Lockheed Sanders, Nashua, New Hampshire.
