66 -- ACOMA MOBILE HIGH FREQUENCY C-ARM HFC-9 WITH DIGIMAX SYSTEM SOL 263-99-B(GQ)-0005 DUE 111098 POC Dorothy Nickens,Contract Specialist, (301) 496-0301, Fax 3 (301) 402-3407 NIH intends to negotiate and award, on a sole-source basis, a contract to provide Acoma Mobile High Frequency C-Arm HFC-9 with Digimax Digital System with Reliant Medical Systems, Inc., Hanover, MD. This action is taken under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c ) (1) (FAR 6.301-1(b). The salient characteristics/performance features for Acoma Mobile High Frequency C-Arm HFC-9 with Digimax Digital System shall have a high frequency generator with at least 7.5 KW output, time selections shall range from .032 seconds to 5.0 seconds, shall have anatomically programmed radiography, shall feature a high resolution digital CCD camera with last image hold and noise reduction, the C-arm assembly shall offer optimum positioning with a variety of angular projections. (rotation +/- 180 degree, orbital rotation 120 degrees, vertical travel approx. 20 inches), shall fature image rotation and reversal. Beta Mobile Imaging Table model S 4015 shall be welded anodized aluminum frames (top and bases), shall have a patient surfaces of approximately 26 inches X 75 inches (66cm X 190.5 cm), imaging surface shall measure approximately 75 inches X 22 inches (190.5 cm X 55.8 cm), vertical height shall range from 25 inches to 35 inches (10 inches), 63.5 cm to 88.9 cm (25.4 cm), the table shall allow access for the c-Arm opening, the opening shall measure at least 48 inches X 37 inches (122 cm X 94 cm), shall be equipped with mounted oxygen bottle holder. The Digimax-2000 High Definition Digital Imaging Processor shall feature real time windows NT Graphic software with 12 Bit pipeline processor, 1024 X 512 X 8 bit image matrix, shall have 32 MB RAM expandable to 128 MB RAM, shall have 540 MB hard drive, which can be expandable up to 12 GB, the system shall feature Real-Time digital fluoror and digital spot radiography, real-time subtraction and road mapping with real-time window/level control shall be available, variable rate shall be up to 30 FPS for Cine Loop acquisition and playback, the system shall have 21 inch B/W or color monitor, shall feature split image screen display for live and reviewing image comparison on one monitor, shall feature measurement and quantitative analysis menu, with Alpha/Numeric keyboard for menu selection and data entry, shall have patient information and file management, the contractor shall provide maintenance (labor and parts) and keep the equipment in good operation condition. NIH believes that the above referenced firm is the only source that can provide this requirement. The contract shall be for one year with two options for an additional year. Any other firm that feels they are qualified to provide such services must submit by the response date (15 calendar days from date of this publication) a detailed capability statement documenting their ability to provide this service by meeting the requirements stated above.
