A -- REMOTE MINEHUNTING SYSTEM ENGINEERING SERVICES SUPPORT SOL N00024-96-C-6322 POC Contact Point, Mr. Rick Gunderson, (703) 602-0951, X624; Contracting Officer, Mr. Jack Dennard (703) 602-0951, X633 The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a contract modification to Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems Inc, Electronics Park, Building 7, Syracuse NY 13221-4840 under contract N00024-96-C-6322 in order to provide for additional engineering services for studies, services, and/or analyses in support of the Remote Minehunting System. The modification will be negotiated pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). Lockheed Martin is the only known company which currently possesses the in-depth technical knowledge of the equipment required to satisfactorily perform the work under the orders contemplated herein. No other source has the technical qualifications and necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other services satisfy the Navy's requirements.
