Vessel is a 41 Foot Utility Boat. Vessel length is 40 feet, 8 inches; breadth is 13 feet, 6 inches. Vessel homepier is New Haven, CT. Vessel availability schedule is to be defined separately for each vessel. The performance period for each vessel is thirty-five (35) calendar days. The place of performance is not geographically restricted; however, for the vessel to travel by water, the maximum nautical mileage will be limited to ONE HUNDRED (100) nautical miles from New Haven, CT. This figure represents a single day's travel for a UTB crew. Any contractor providing for work to be accomplished at a commercial location exceeding ONE HUNDRED (100) nautical miles will have to transport the vessel by land at the contractor's expense which shall be included in the amount bid. Transport time shall be included in the 35-day performance period. The contract will consist of one base year and three one-year options to be exercised at the Government's discretion. There will be a non-refundable charge of $100.00 required in the form of a certified check or money order payable to the U. S. Coast Guard for requested drawings.
