(4) Renew Rubrail, (5) Remove and Reinstall Rubrail, (6) Renew Rubrail
Fasteners, (7) Air Test Skeg, (8) Renew Skeg, (9) Renew Cabin and
Pilot House, (10) Perform Minor Repairs to Cabin Top, (11) Remove and
Reinstall Cabin Top Windows, (12) Renew Stern Tube, (13) Remove,
Inspect, Reinstall Deck Cleats, (14) Renew Strut, (15) Perform Minor
Repair and Reconditioning of Propeller, (16) Straighten Shaft, (17)
Realign Engine, (18) Renew Propulsion Shaft Stern Tube Bearing, (19)

Propeller, (21) Renew, and Test Valves, (22) Remove, Inspect, and

Logistics, and (35) Routine Drydocking. Vessels are 40 feet, 8 inches
in length and 13 feet, 6 inches in width. Vessel's homeports are
located within Group Mobile. Availability schedules are defined
separately for each vessel. The performance period for each vessel is
TWENTY-ONE (21) calendar days. The place of performance is not
geographically restricted, however, for the vessel to travel by water,
the maximum nautical mileage will be limited to FIFTY (50) nautical
miles from it's homepier. Any contractor providing for work to be
accomplished at a commercial location exceeding FIFTY (50) nautical
miles will have to transport the vessel by land at the contractor's
expense which shall be inclusive in the amount bid. The contract will
consist of ONE (1) base year and THREE (3) option years to be exercised
at the Government's discretion. All reference documents are available

A non-refundable charge of $100.00 is required in the form of a
certified check or money order made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard for
requested drawings. All businesses, large and small, are encouraged to
submit bids for the subject requirements. Plans and specifications
will be issued on or after 20 November 1998. All responsible sources
may submit a bid which shall be considered by the United States Coast
