Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) has been tasked to provide telecommunications service upgrades (copper cable) between the hospital remote switching site (West RST) and Building 5780, the West Security Entry Gate and the Rod and Gun club area at Edwards AFB. To provide connectivity between the West RST and the desired locations, it is necessary to construct a cable route along Forbes Ave., Rosamond Ave., and Telemetry Road. This request for services subcontract is for construction of a telecommunication trench for approximately 33,656 feet at Edwards Air Force Base. All trenching or plowing will be in the existing road shoulders, with telecommunications cables installed by other subcontractors.
