equipment compliant with the Milstar Single Channel Anti-Jam
Manportable (SCAMP) Terminal Production Performance Specification
A3250773, Revision B, dated 30 September 1997. The SCAMP terminal is an
EHF ground terminal that communicates with the Milstar satellite
constellation and other EHF satellites compliant to MIL-STD-1582D
(SECRET NOFRON). Interested sources should identify specific equipment
models that are equivalent to the SCAMP terminal and that can
currently meet the requirements of the SCAMP terminal, associated
warranty, fielding and spares and must be available for immediate
procurement and not require any additional development or qualification
testing. The Government has in its possession Milstar and related
specifications which are classified SECRET NOFORN and will only be made
available for viewing by authorized DOD contractors with the required
security clearances in accordance with the Milstar Classification
Guide. Rockwell Collins, Richardson, Texas is the current manufacturer
of the SCAMP terminal. The Government does not possess sufficient data
(drawings) to procure these items from other than the current source.
