General range of work includes residential, commercial and heavy industrial. The Contractor shall furnish all labor supervision, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation and quality control necessary to provide repairs and renovations. The work includes, but is not limited to, interior and exterior painting, electrical, structural, plumbing and pipefitting, glazing, sheetmetal, insulation, concrete/cement, bricklaying, roofing, and potable water and sewage distribution systems and all incidental related work. The standard industrial classification code for this procurement is 1541. The project is being issued as unrestricted -- open to large and small business concerns. The Evaluation Preference for SDB's will be utilized for this procurement. The resultant contract will be an Indefinite Quantity Type Contract. All work shall be completed in strict accordance with the specifications. IFB's will be issued on/about 09 December, 1998. Performance period will be one year commencing 15 days after notice of award. There will be two (2) twelve month option periods which maybe exercised by the Government. Total duration of contract shall not exceed 36 months. Estimated cost range is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.
