Lagoons are located at various missile sites in the local area of Minot AFB, ND. Work is 100% general, 0% mechanical and 0% electrical. The magnitude of this project is between $500,00.00-$1,000,000.00. The work will be performed in a restricted area. The contractor shall repair the sewage lagoons at three Missile Alert Facilities (D-1, E-1, and F-1). Remove and/or tear down and rebuild dikes around the primary and secondary lagoon cells. Remove existing and install new lagoon liners on both cells. Install riprap and geotextile fabric on dikes to maintain walls. Remove and replace sewer line from manhole to primary lagoon. Reconnect existing sewerline from building. Remove and replace existing manhole with a new precast manhole. Remove and replace surrounding fence, gates, and signs. Repair site drainage. Remove and dispose of sewage sludge according to 40 CFR 503. Provide Government with work plan and disposal information according to 40 CFR 503. Posted 11/17/98 (W-SN272292). (0321)
