QUANTITY A-E SERVICES SOL F31610-99-R0007 DUE 122398 POC Paul King,
Contract Specialist, (919) 736-6539 EXT 260 Contract for
Multi-discipline indefinite delivery indefinite quantity architectural
and engineering services. Type of work: A-E services with the required
disciplines of architectural, structural, civil, environmental,
electrical, fire protection, and mechanical. Field surveying,
landscaping design and architectural rendering capabilities must be
identified. Disciplines and capabilities may be represented within the
same firm or with consultants that regularly work with the primary
firm. The firm must also be able to provide part-time and/or full-time
project-specified construction inspection and field engineering
services and other temporary on-site A-E services. Work will be for
Seymour Johnson AFB North Carolina. The contract shall consist of a
basic year and two option years. The minimum contract amount will be
$5,000.00. Each delivery order shall have a maximum value of $299,000.
Fees shall not exceed $750,000 per year. The selected firm shall be
capable of providing final drawings formatted in AUTOCAD Release 12 or
higher. Each final drawing file shall be provided on CD-ROM or 3-1/2",
1.44MB disks, formatted in MS-DOS 3.3 or higher. Architect/Engineer
firms which meet the requirements described in this announcement and
desiring consideration shall submit appropriate data as described below
no later than 23 Dec 98. This is not a request for a proposal.
Considerations for selection in priority order are as follows: 1.
Specialized experience in DoD open-end design contracts for renovation
and minor construction projects valued at $10,000.00 to $500,000.00.
2. Professional qualifications of key personnel. 3. Professional
capacity to complete projects within a required time. 4. Past
performance of the firm on DoD and other contracts. 5. Special emphasis
will be place on firms located within 75 miles of Seymour Johnson AFB
which is located in Goldsboro NC. 6. Volume of recent DoD contracts. 7.
Cost control effectiveness based on recent competitively bid contracts.
8. Full time construction inspection capability. Architect/Engineer
firms which meet the requirements described in this announcement are
invited to submit a Standard Form 254, Architect-Engineer and Related
Services Questionnaire by 23 Dec 98. Firms responding to this
announcement before the closing date will be considered for selection.
Following an initial evaluation of the qualification and performance
data submitted, three firms considered to be the most highly qualified
to provide the type of services required, may be chosen for
