Synopsis. The following information is provided to assist the Air Force
in conducting a Market Research of Industry to determine potential

successfully complete this effort. Hill AFB, Utah, F-16 Support
Division, Mechanical/Structural Section has requirements for the
manufacture and delivery of 550 Knot Transparencies for the F-16 Models
A/C, B/D aircraft. The primary objective is to establish sufficient
manufactures within the Industrial Base to provide canopy
transparencies for all F-16 aircraft models and to meet the varied
customer mission requirements. The contractor(s) shall meet these
requirements, using Specification 16K002F and other directives
contained therein along with the requirements of FAR clause 52.219-14,

manufactures presently under contract, additional sources for
manufacture are being solicited and encouraged to become qualified
suppliers. Upon qualification with "first article" on a specified
delivery date, follow-on contract quantities to be produced and
delivered will allow for the recovery of a pre-negotiated percentage of
initial capital investment for transparency shell tooling. Potential
