A -- EXTENSION OF PROPOSAL DUE DATE FOR SENSOR, TARGETING AND COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGIES FOR AIR, SURFACE AND UNDERGROUND DEFENSE (STC TECH) (RA 99-13) REF: ORIGINAL CBD PUBLICATION -- SPECIAL NOTICE SN 99-01 The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is extending the due date for proposals for RA 99-13 from 11 December 1998 to 23 December 1998. The reason for this extension is to allow offerors appropriate time to consider and address changes made to the RA and Model Agreement. The updated RA and Model Agreement will be republished on Monday at web site mentioned below. All changes to the RA and Model Agreement will be indicated in bold. These changes have resulted from industry inquiries and are intended to clarify the Government's intent in areas including teaming guidelines, independent qualification of team members for future research tasks, directed "sole source" research tasks, authorized negotiators for each performer, anticipated number of awards.
