We are issuing a notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Mr. Paul Kelley, Bowie, Md for providing repair and modification services of existing ARL trace gas detection equipment and support equipment; instrument and technique development; computer programming for data reduction and analysis; and technical support for field research programs. Performing general laboratory calibrations and routine maintenance on existing equipment; optimizing a state-of-the-art fast response NO detector under development at ARL, and integrating the device into an aircraft-deplorable instrument package; writing and debugging FORTRAN computer programs to aid in instrument signal processing and data analysis. The period of performance will be January 1, 1998 to September 30, 1999. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Any party interested in receiving a copy of the Request for Quote shall provide written notice to the Contracting Office. The Request for Quote document will be issued on or about December 7, 1998.
