Rankin (703) 814-4914 This is a modification to the combined synopsis/solicitation issued as RFQ-795284 dated 12/8/98. The CBD submission number for the original announcement is 278236. This modification is being issued to include the following additional information. The description of the requirement should read as follows: 185 Alphanumeric Digital Pagers. Price should include details related to monthly service fees for local, statewide and national service and any additional zone and/or regional fees, charges for a personal 800 or 888 number with PIN and charges for personal 800 or 888 number without PIN. The actual number of pagers may vary plus or minus the stated amount above depending on changing requirements during the term of the contract. Any resulting contract would include an option provision to increase the number of pagers over the term of the contract by up to 50% of the above stated amount. Price evaluations are based on individual amounts and options as proposed on a per pager basis. This modification doesnot change the established response date and time as established in the original CBD announcement of no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) January 4, 1999.
