This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation (F26600-99-Q-0212) is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-05. The SIC for this solicitation is 1752. The small business size standard is $7.0 million in annual gross revenues for the three previous fiscal years. Item description as follows: Nonpersonal service to provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and all other necessary items to remove old carpet and cove base, and install contractor-furnished carpet and cove base at building 200, on Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, NV. 89191. Carpet to be installed on the 1st floor hallways only and includes 450 SY of carpet tiles of Tunisia (2557) or equal, with 12" border of Capuccino (38007 Bedouin) or equal and 4" wall border, bound edge, of the same. A site visit will be held on 22 Dec, at 2:00 p.m. PST. You must notify us by fax (702-652-5405) with the names and numbers of attendees by the close of business 21 Dec 98.
