The work to be performed will include all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary and required to remove asphalt, add up to six inches of aggregate, grade and level areas, compact sub-base, grade level compact, add a minimum of four inches of asphalt, install low profile curbing and install six inches thick reinforced concrete at six alert facilities in the vicinity of Malmstrom AFB Mt. The resultant contract will be a unit priced, estimated quantity type contract with one optional item for paving the access roads to the facilities. Multiple award possibilities exist for groupings of sites. Request for Proposal will be issued on or about 18 JAN 1999. Proposal Closing will be on or about 18 FEB 1999. Performance period is 120 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed for each potential grouping of three facilities (note: work can only be performed between 01 May and 31Oct ). The acquisition is open competition for large and small business in accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. Only written request for the solicitation will be considered.
