B -- DEVELOPMENT OF TERRAIN AWARENESS WARNING SYSTEM CAPABILITY POC Susan Shean, Phone (301) 757-5932 The Naval Air Systems Command proposes to procure engineering support services to support the U.S. Navy's investigation, development, and demonstration of a Terrain Awareness Warning System (TAWS) capability on the F/A-18C/D aircraft utilizing the Tactical Aircraft Moving Map Capability (TAMMAC) system. These services shall include technical evaluations and studies, aircraft integration definition and development, and flight test support to deliver a government owned flyable TAMMAC system with integrated government furnished TAWS source code. The services will be acquired sole source from the Boeing Company of St. Louis, MO 63166-0516 under Contract N00019-96-C-0182.
