The Army requires a contract for the furnishing of all plant, labor, materials equipment and performance required in connection with Refinish Gym Floors, buildings 208, 439,608, and 708 Fort Stewart, GA and building 925, Hunter Army Airfield. Work includes but is not necessarily restricted to: Remove bleachers, vinyl wall base and all metal anchor plates from each gym. Refinish athletic courts and handball/racquetball court floors. This includes the painting of game lines on floors. Remove and replace deteriorated wood flooring as required. Reinstall metal anchor plates, wall base and bleachers to their original locations. Miscellaneous grading and concrete work at building 439 Ft. Stewart. Contractor must have a minimum of three years experience and be regularly engaged in refinishing gymnasium floors. All game lines shall be in accordance with NCAA Standards and as printed in the Maple Flooring Manufacturer's Game Marking Manual. Performance time is 45 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Work shall commence in March of 1999. Sic Code for this project is 1752. Project is unrestricted, all responsible businesses may submit an offer. Magnitude of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. There is no charge for the solicitation package.
