1999 SO. CALIFORNIA REGIONAL BREAKFAST & OPPORTUNITIES EXPO Southern California Regional Small Business Procurement Fair with Networking Breakfast Thursday, February 25, 1999 On Thursday, February 25, 1999, more than 300 government and corporate personnel are expected to participate in the networking opportunities event at the Admiral Kidd Club, on-site at the Fleet Anti-Submarine Warfare Training Center. The event is being sponsored by the San Diego Contracting Opportunities Center. In addition, the following agencies are being invited to support government counseling tables: Camp Pendleton, Air Force Space & Missile Systems Center, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Fleet & Industrial Supply Center -San Diego, Defense Contract Management Command-San Diego, and more! Participants will enjoy a hearty buffet- style breakfast, an enlightening panel discussion, and a chance to confer with representative from local DoD and civilian agencies. The day will begin with a networking breakfast at 8:30 a.m., then from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Ms. Linda Coakley, BusinessOpportunities Specialist, U.S. Small Business Administration, Ms. Beverly Boogich, Deputy for Small Business, Naval Facilities Engineering Command/PWC San Diego, Mr. Jim Conrad, Commanding Officer, Fleet Industrial Supply Center, San Diego and Mr. Ken Clark, Small Business Services Coordinator, Small Business Development and International Trade Center, Southwestern College, will participate in a panel discussion on current federal procurement issues. This is an easy way to network and meet with key government personnel. Everyone is encouraged to participate. There is space available for those companies who wish to display their products or services on a six foot table top display to the over 300 personnel from various area government agencies who will attend.
