The U.S.Army, TACOM/ARDEC is seeking qualified small business firms who can respond to a Request for Proposal (RFP) to fabricate and deliver steel high fragmentation (HF-1) bodies for 60MM Mortar, M720A1, high explosive projectile. The contract quantity is approximately 43,000 bodies with an option for up to 45,000. Required delivery date is 1 March 00. Initial delivery will commence seven to nine months after contract award. Capability must include experience in fabrication, inspection, test and necessary equipment, facilities, tooling and materials (including packaging and pelletization material) and a quality system. Product drawings are available from the Contracting Officer. Interested firms should provide, at no cost to the government, descriptive literature to substantiate the firm's ability to meet all of the above requirements within fifteen days of this publication by e-mail to agratts@pica.army.mil.
